The sports bar at Victoria station had a problem. Their female toilets kept blocking. In such a busy site consisting of four ladies’ toilets and one disabled toilet this had to be solved, and fast!
Due to location there was difficulty with running new pipe work using a traditional gravity system.
Martin Abbott the director of the site management company involved decided to call on Saniflo. After seeing the Sanicubic it was felt to be the perfect solution. His team changed the pipe runs and installed the Sanicubic unit and it was up and running the same working day!
The Sanicubic units from the Saniflo Professional Range discharge waste from multiple WCs and a range of waste water producing appliances, where convenientional gravity drainage is not possible.
They handle waste water of up to 70ºC for short periods and have dual motors for absolute reliability and power. Sanicubic is capable of pumping up to 11m vertically, 100m horizontally or a lesser combination of both.
Located at the rear of the Bar the Sanicubic accepts waste and water by gravity flow and then pumps it away through small bore pipework to a remote soil stack.
As this powerful unit contains two separate pumps which operate alternatively, one can take over from the other in the event of inflow overload. If this happens a contact is closed which sets off an audible and visual alarm making it ideal for restaurant applications.
