Planning to convert your loft? With any loft conversion, maximising the use of the available space is key to a successful outcome. When it comes to adding a bathroom or toilet in a loft conversion, you can be restricted as to position by the location of the existing drains. The best way to situate a toilet or bathroom where you want it is to use a macerator or small-bore pumping system. Excellent results have been achieved over many years using this approach in even the smallest of loft conversions. The simple installation and convenience of a macerator often proves to be even more cost effective than running traditional drains. For example, using the top of the range Saniplus you could install a WC, shower and washbasin. The unit can be positioned in it's own small cupboard immediately to the rear of a back-to-wall toilet thus negating the effect of noise created by the unit's powerful motor. In this way Saniflo macerating units allow you to make good use of even the tiniest spaces - ensuring that your loft conversion adds the maximum value to your home. ABOUT THE SANIFLO RANGE The Saniflo range of small-bore macerator pumps enables the addition of extra bathroom, kitchen or utility facilities almost anywhere. This includes those hard to plumb locations that would be impractical using conventional large bore gravity drained pipe work such as in a basement, loft extension or loft conversion. Units from the Saniflo range quietly pump waste and water vertically or horizontally through small bore pipework of only 22 millimetre or 32 millimetre diameter to existing drainage. Saniflo makes it easy, quick and economic to install facilities where you want them when converting a basement or loft. Saniflo makes it possible to site facilities where they are needed instead of where gravity plumbing dictates. Saniflo have redesigned the principal units in the range to have a sleek modern appearance and where required greater pumping performance.
