Cisternless ceramic WC with built-in macerator pump

Sanicompact is operated by an electronic programme which has 2 functions: by a push of the button a 25 second cycle is set in motion. The Sanicompact macerates the WC waste and pumps it away to the drain. It will also pump away the waste water from a washbasin. In this case, the motor activates automatically when the water enters.

Are the macerators suitable for tampons & sanitary items ? »
Items of this nature should not be disposed of through the domestic Saniflo macerator range as they are likely to cause a blockage. Our professional unit Sanibest is suitable for this type of product
do you have to dig up the floor ? »
As the function of the units is to pump waste and water away, it should not usually be necessary to dig up the floor to lay the discharge pipework. It is possible to run the pipework from low level to a higher level e.g. from a basement to ground floor level, or from 1st floor up into a roofspace and then join to a soil stack
Are they very noisey? »
Most of the domestic range units operate at approx 55 decibels and for the flush of a toilet the motor will run for no more than 10 -20 seconds.
